Recycled cardboard is treated with natural oils and heat and then processed. The result is a "fabric" that is soft enough to wear, strong enough not to shrink, and green enough to have a bright future in the industry and to be labeled as having a low environmental impact. The twisted paper strands are braided into a continuous length of braid, then sewn with a slight overlap, starting from the center.
